Symmy Mobile VOIP Free Calls

Mobile VOIP is really on a fast track these days. Almost everyone today has a mobile and that's good enough to make calls. Of course, you need a softphone client installed but some mobile voip providers even offer Web based mobile VOIP calls.

To join the Mobile VOIP party, A new service has launched by the name of Symmy.

Symmy offers Mobile VOIP through GPRS/3G/WiFi on your mobile phone which can be used anywhere in the world without any restrictions.

The only limitations of symmy is it's limited to a few handsets, currently about 30 handsets are supported, mostly Nokia handsets are supported. They may extend the list of more handsets in future.

2) Download Symmy VOIP client (any of the following method)

Installation via computer:
Download Symmy mobile application to your computer. Transfer installation file to your phone using Bluetooth/Infrared/Cable connection. Install Symmy to your mobile phone by running installation file.

Installation via mobile phone:
Download Symmy mobile application using your mobile phone's web browser. Install Symmy to your mobile phone by running installation file.

3) Now login to Symmy from your mobile and enjoy their services.



Microsoft LifeChat ZX-6000 for Wirelsss VOIP

Microsoft has unveiled LifeChat ZX-6000, a wireless VOIP headset.

To make pc calling easier Microsoft has introduced digital headset the LifeChat ZX-6000, to communicate easily from pc-to-pc or pc-to-phone.Optimizations for Windows Live make accessing VoIP technology easier than ever.

Lifechat ZX-6000 is rip off version of Xbox-360 headset but this headset is compatible with MSN messenger. Although, the compatibility is limited. Its not very clear whether Lifechat supports other messengers such as Google talk etc or any other VOIP softphone client for that matter.

However the features available with Lifechat seem pretty good for a buy.
